GMWDA transfers into the GMCA

From 1st April 2018 the Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority transferred all its duties, obligations and statutory powers for waste disposal to the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. The move is part of the 2014 ground-breaking devolution agreement.

Revive® compost is made from your recycled food and garden waste

Greater Manchester households’ food and garden waste is recycled into peat free compost.

Revive® Multi- purpose Compost is made with food and garden waste collected from household kerbside collections across Greater Manchester. The food and garden waste is composted at an In Vessel Composting Facility and then is blended, matured and bagged at a separate compost processing facility.

Revive® Multi-purpose Compost is  a PAS100 and CQP certified product.

Revive® Multi-purpose Compost is available for residents to buy in 20,40 and 60 litre bags directly from one of our weighbridge facilities in Greater Manchester.
